Collection: Okuizome

Okuizome (first meal) is a traditional Japanese ceremony, there is a sacred ritual performed by parents to celebrate a baby's 100th day anniversary, in hopes for the child's good health and never lack food throughout their life.

This is an old custom that began during the Heian period, and it does not necessarily have to be performed around 100 to 120 days after birth. Please consider the physical condition of the baby and mother and celebrate at the best timing for your family.

To make your ceremony memorable, and deepest wish of your precious child's nutritious healthy growth, we offer a complete Okuizome meal set in the comfort of your own home.
