Okuizome (first meal) is a traditional Japanese ceremony, there is a sacred ritual performed by parents to celebrate a baby's 100th day anniversary, in hopes for the child's good health and never lack food throughout their life.
This is an old custom that began during the Heian period, and it does not necessarily have to be performed around 100 to 120 days after birth. Please consider the physical condition of the baby and mother and celebrate at the best timing for your family.

In the "Notes" please include the Baby name, if you would like a name plate. If you will celebrate on the weekend, let us know. We will pack the food in airtight containers.
